The Shale Áo dài dress (our bestselling Áo dài in a printed silk organza) is now in a lightweight brocade!
This drapy mid-sleeve raglan tunic can be layered over a dress, or with bottoms. Zipper enclosure at the neck. Oversized fit with a loose raglan sleeve. Size down if you prefer it to be fitted at the shoulder or check out the Ostra Áo dài which has a more fitted sleeve than the Shale. Handcrafted with a blind hem stitch in our Saigon studio.

The Blind Hem Stitch is Kaarem’s commitment to and celebration of cultural preservation. The craft of making an áo dài, the traditional Vietnamese garment that inspires the collections, focuses on the use of the Blind Hem Stitch where no seams are visible on the exterior. Kaarem is influenced by these age-old Vietnamese sewing techniques, and we seek to update them afor our clothing designs. In each Kaarem piece, you will find the handcrafted care from our production studio team in Saigon.
